Video: Nicholas Christopher In Rehearsal
Bermudian actor Nicholas Christopher has appeared in a rehearsal video for the upcoming Broadway revival of ‘Chess’ at the Imperial Theatre in Manhattan.
Christopher will play the role of Freddie Trumper in the ABBA-scored musical set around a Cold War-era chess tournament.
It will be directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and choreographed by Lorin Latarro.
“It’s a beast of a show, a beast of a sing, and a beast emotionally,” Christopher said.
“To get to sing this music in a rehearsal room with just a piano is so moving.
“I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like once we have the orchestra, our microphones, and are on stage in our customes.”
