Special Olympics Praises Flatts’ Donation
Special Olympics Bermuda has thanked Flatts Village Recreation Club for a $650 donation raised during a joint charity walk.
Flatts collected the funds at its FVRC Walkathon x SO Walk for Inclusion event held last year.
“Last year’s event saw members, family and supporters of both organisations participating in the Club’s Walkathon, graciously held in partnership with SOBda’s Walk for Inclusion, a Caribbean-wide awareness event hosted by Athlete Leaders of SO’s Caribbean Initiative – a collective of SO programmes from the Caribbean region,” read a Special Olympics Bermuda statement.
“We are truly grateful for this support and look forward to more opportunities for collaboration and inclusion with FVRC and other organisations across the island.”
