BHS Claim Middle School Football Title

Bermuda High School have won the Bermuda School Sports Federation Middle School Girls’ Six-a-Side Tournament after beating Warwick Academy in a penalty shootout at Shelly Bay Field.

The final ended 1-1 after regulation time.

Warwick Academy, defending champions, took the lead when Devi Samuels scored in the 46th minute.

However, in the final seconds of the match Amia McCook netted an equaliser to send the game into penalties.

BHS held their nerve during the shootout, prevailing 3-2.
