Tech Training Offered Via Bermuda Coders
The public is being reminded about the Bermuda Coders initiative, which offers “free opportunities to gain cutting-edge training in artificial intelligence, data analysis, Android app development, and programming.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Workforce Development reminds residents about Bermuda Coders, the island’s groundbreaking digital skills education programme and the free opportunities to gain cutting-edge training in artificial intelligence, data analysis, Android app development, and programming.
“This initiative, made possible through a partnership between the Government of Bermuda and the United Arab Emirates via their Government Experience Exchange Office, is designed to equip Bermudians with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.”
Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward said, “This initiative is about equipping our people with the skills they need to thrive in a digital world,” said . “We want to ensure everyone knows about the amazing opportunities Bermuda Coders offers and encourages more people to sign up.”
The Government spokesperson said, “Fintech Training, which includes Bermuda Coders, is now under the Department of Workforce Development. This transition is critical to the Government’s broader commitment to skills development in Bermuda. It ensures that Bermudians have streamlined access to programmes such as the Bermuda Coders Initiative and other digital and developmental learning and training opportunities, all under one roof.
“Bermuda Coders has already attracted hundreds of registrants, many of whom successfully completed tracks in AI, data analysis, programming, and Android app development. Each track runs for eight weeks, and participants are advised to complete one track before registering for another to maximise their chances of success.
“Through Bermuda Coders and other initiatives, the Department of Workforce Development is committed to nurturing local tech talent and providing opportunities for individuals at all skill levels to learn, grow, and connect with a thriving digital community.
