Video: Logan Jiménez On Bermuda Debut
Bermuda footballer Logan Jiménez has reflected on his national team debut against Curaçao at the Flora Duffy Stadium.
Jiménez started the match, which Bermuda lost 7-0 in their penultimate group B game of the final round of the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers on November 13.
He came on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw away to Trinidad four days later.
Jiménez signed professional terms with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian last season.
“It was a great experience to make my debut for my country,” Jiménez told Hibernian’s social media.
“I’ve been waiting to get the call-up for about five months now.
“It was great to get the call-up and to start [the match against Curaçao].
“Obviously, we didn’t get the result we wanted.
“We went to Trinidad and got a good result there.
“I was really nervous walking out and all the fans were there; the horns were going crazy.”
Jiménez, who can play in defence or attack, played in Hibernian Under-19s’ 1-0 defeat away to Dynamo Kyiv Under-19 in the first leg of the Uefa Youth League third round tonight.
