Barnett And Sousa Claim Fifteenth Place
Bermuda’s Benjamín Barnett and Brandon Sousa concluded their participation at the sixteenth stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Continental Tour in Managua, Nicaragua.
They finished fifteenth due to a withdrawal in the final play-off match.
The pair were scheduled to face Nicaragua’s second team, Jefferson Cascante and Denis López, in the 15th/16th-place play-off match.
However, the Nicaraguan team were unable to take to the court due to an injury.
As a result of the withdrawal, Barnett and Sousa were awarded the victory by default.
