Dangerous Driving, Failing To Stop, Unlicensed
Police have taken one person into custody following an incident at a checkpoint in which a driver failed to stop and was later found to be operating an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle.
A police spokesperson said, “One person is in custody after failing to stop at a police checkpoint. Offenses include dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, and operating an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle.
“Police are reminding members of the public that when signaled to stop by officers, motorists must comply with the instructions given. Drivers are also urged to ensure their vehicles are properly licensed and insured at all times.”
