Ashay Educational Events To Be Held
A number of educational events are set to take place over the coming months, including Ashay: What’s It All About? Lunch and Learns, the Ashay Clubs for children at St. Monica’s Church, and the Mobile African Foundation Timeline art installation at the Bermuda Society of Arts.
The Ashay: What’s It All About? Lunch and Learn sessions will be held at the Bermuda National Library over the next three months, with the first session scheduled for Tuesday, January 13 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
The Ashay Clubs at St. Monica’s Church are expanding, with registration open for the culturally focused programme for children ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12.
The Mobile African Foundation Timeline, a 16 foot by 4 foot art installation depicting African history, including connections to Bermuda, will be on display at City Hall at the Bermuda Society of Arts during February.
