Hood, Eagles, Colts, Young Men & Zebras Win

Robin Hood, Somerset Eagles, Devonshire Colts, Young Men Social Club, and PHC Zebras secured victories in Bermuda football action, while Boulevard Blazers and St. George’s Colts played to a draw.

Robin Hood 10 – Vasco 2

Robin Hood defeated Vasco 10-2 at the PHC Stadium. Keishen Bean scored four goals for Robin Hood. Sebastian Davis and Xahiv Deroza each scored twice, with Cory Booth and Kimani Davis scoring one goal apiece. Vasco received goals from Milton Carreiro and Logan Viera.

Somerset Eagles 2 – St. David’s 0

Somerset Eagles earned a 2-0 victory against St. David’s. Rushaine Murphy scored in the 67th minute to give the Eagles the lead. Zico Saltus-Seymour recorded the second goal in the 72nd minute.

Dandy Town Hornets 1 – Devonshire Colts 4

Devonshire Colts defeated league leaders Dandy Town Hornets 4-1 at White Hill Field. Senoj Mitchell opened the scoring for the Colts in the 20th minute, followed by a Jahzardae Samuels goal in the 24th minute. David Jones scored for the Hornets before halftime. In the second half, Samuels scored again in the 50th minute and Elisha Darrell added a goal in the 64th minute.

Boulevard Blazers 3 – St. George’s Colts 3

Boulevard Blazers and St. George’s Colts finished in a 3-3 draw at the Devonshire Recreation Club. The Blazers took a 2-0 lead through two goals from Doreiko Walker. St. George’s Colts responded with goals from Blaiz Hall, Leroy Lewis, and Mitchell Tucker to take a 3-2 lead. Teiko Lowe scored the equalizer for the Blazers during injury time.

Paget Lions 1 – Young Men Social Club 2

Young Men Social Club defeated Paget Lions 2-1. Following a scoreless first half, Clay Darrell scored for Social Club in the 70th minute. Daniel Cook equalized for the Lions in the 78th minute. Zeiko Lewis scored the winning goal for the visitors four minutes into stoppage time.

PHC Zebras 2 – X-Road’s 1

PHC Zebras moved into first place in the standings following a 2-1 win over X-Road’s. Enrique Russell scored for the Zebras in the 21st minute. The Zebras increased their lead before halftime via an own goal. Donavan Thompson scored for X-Road’s in the 50th minute.
