Camerin Pickering Impresses In Lancaster

Camerin Pickering advanced to the elimination rounds of the Lancaster Archery Classic after a strong showing in Pennsylvania.

Competing at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex, Pickering progressed through the qualification phase in the Men’s Olympic Recurve division.

A display of consistent shooting saw him finish 29th overall, comfortably earning a place in the knockout brackets.

In the round of 32, the Bermudian was drawn against American Olympian and former World Cup gold medallist Jack Williams.

Pickering rose to the challenge, pushing his highly decorated opponent before eventually bowing out with a score of 123–113.

Meanwhile, in the youth ranks, Elektra Smith made an impressive start at the Easton Youth & Collegiate Trophy Tournament.

Competing in the Women’s 18–20 Junior Division, Smith posted a new personal best of 475 out of 660.

Her performance earned her ninth place in her group.
