Stalin Naranjo said he is confident Inter BDA can build on an unbeaten start to the Corona League season.
Inter BDA sit top of the standings after winning four and drawing one of their opening five league matches.
They have also progressed to the first round of the FA Cup, having defeated First Division side Somerset Eagles 3-2 at White Hill Field in October.
Naranjo’s side will face top-flight opponents X-Roads in the first round on January 25 at Police Field.
The Ecuadorian coach, who has lived in Bermuda for 16 years, guided Inter BDA to the Corona League title last season, finishing undefeated with six wins from ten matches.
He said he has ambitious plans for the club after strengthening the squad with new additions during the summer.
“The team is looking good, and we’re really excited about the second half of the season, especially the cup game against X-Roads,” Naranjo said.
“We have players from all over the world — Argentinians, Peruvians, Ecuadorians, British, Brazilians, Colombians, Mexicans and Portuguese players from Asia and Africa.
“We’ve also added more Bermudian players, including some really exciting youngsters.
“We want to reach the First Division and eventually the Premier Division. We already have an Inter BDA team competing in the Bermuda Football Association Masters League.”
Corona League action resumes this week.
