Pain Into Purpose Virtual Event On January 29

The Cal Athletics DEIBJ Office, led by Dr Ty-Ron Douglas, will host its annual Pain Into Purpose DEIBJ Playbook virtually on January 29th at 2:30pm via Zoom.

A spokesperson said, “Our annual #PainIntoPurpose DEIBJ Playbook will be held virtually on January 29th at 2:30pm via Zoom. Cal Athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes will engage with community members and wellness professionals in a virtual space of compassion and encouragement.

“As a reminder, #PainIntoPurpose is an international road safety and wellness initiative that began in Bermuda after the passing of Kijani Burgess. With the support of the Burgess family, the Cal Athletics DEIBJ Office has embrace this initiative as a way to promote the well being of our student-athletes and Cal community. We’ve had amazing special guests over the years and this year will be no different!”
