Thomas Cechini Helps Loyola Defeat Bucknell
Thomas Cechini contributed to Loyola University Maryland’s 172-128 dual-meet victory over Bucknell at the Mangione Pool.
The Bermuda swimmer finished fifth in the Men’s 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 9:40.73. Bucknell’s William Shoemaker won the event, while Loyola teammate Chase Garcia placed second in 9:32.14.
Cechini returned for the Men’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, helping the Loyola [B] squad secure a third-place finish. The quartet recorded a time of 3:05.04 to add to the team’s total points.
