96 Players Begin 4-Ball Championship
Bermuda 4-Ball Championship opened at Port Royal Golf Course with 96 players forming 42 teams.
In the Men’s Division, Spencer Wideman and Derrick Irby shot a one-under-par 70 to lead after the opening round. Jarryd Dillas and Damian Palanyandi are one stroke back at even par, while Jevon Roberts and Oliver Betschart are third at one-over par.
In the Ladies’ Championship, Tracy Nash and Carine Brule lead at five-over-par 75. Defending champions Ann Symonds and Tracy Burgess are one shot back. Darina Betschart and Kathryn Lloyd-Hines are third at eight-over par.
In the Senior Men’s Division, Sheldon Chychrun and George Hutchings are tied for the lead with Tim and Barry Brewer after both teams posted five-over 76. Mark Ray and Kyle Lightbourne are two shots back.
