BDA Dance Academy Team Heads To Orlando
The Bermuda Dance Academy’s International Performance Team is in Orlando, Florida to compete in the Revive Dance Convention and Competition from February 11 to February 18.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Dance Academy is thrilled to announce that its International Performance Team [IPT], owned and directed by Nikia Manders, will travel to Revive Dance Convention and Competition in Orlando, Florida, February 11–18, 2026. The twelve dancers, aged seven to seventeen, will compete in seven dances across jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop.
“The team includes dancers Sanziniah Raynor, Tjaia Butler, Kennedy Steeves, Aanya Mills, Nia Cross, Tessanne Williams, Riley Evans, Essence Lewis, Aviya Mills, Gerney Gibbons-Boyles, Isabella Lindsay, and Alena Hassell; teachers/choreographers Makaylie Smith, Imani Edwards, and Jaidah Bailey; director Nikia Manders; and support includes 14 parents and family members traveling with the team, bringing the total to 30 individuals supporting IPT in Orlando.
