Captive Conference Urges Early Registration

Organizers of the Bermuda Captive Conference, which will be held from June 1 to June 3, are encouraging delegates to “secure their place early as demand builds for this year’s programme.”

A spokesperson said, “With early bird registration remaining open only for a short window, organizers of the Bermuda Captive Conference are encouraging delegates to secure their place early as demand builds for this year’s programme.

“The annual conference, held in one of the world’s leading captive domiciles across June 1-3, continues to serve as a focal point for captive owners, risk managers, regulators and global service providers. As the captive market evolves in response to shifting capital dynamics, regulatory developments and complex global risk, this year’s event will once again convene decision-makers for practical, forward-looking discussion grounded in Bermuda’s depth of expertise.

“A highlight of the programme will be a dedicated half-day forum reserved exclusively for captive owners, by captive owners. The session is structured to provide space for candid dialogue and peer exchange in a confidential setting, away from the broader conference audience.

“Among the discussions will be Choosing Your Captive Home: The Captive Domicile Landscape, an objective examination of leading jurisdictions and the factors that distinguish them. Panelists will explore regulatory strength, market maturity, service infrastructure and long-term stability, alongside how different domiciles support evolving lines of business and emerging opportunities. The session is designed to offer a data-informed perspective for owners evaluating domicile strategy in a changing market.”

Helen Souza, Consulting Executive Director of the Bermuda Captive Network, said, “The dedicated forum reflects the conference’s continued commitment to owner-led value. Captive owners are navigating increasingly strategic decisions in a complex global environment.

“Creating a space exclusively for owners allows for candid, peer-to-peer dialogue around domicile considerations, regulatory evolution and long-term resilience. It is important that these conversations take place in a trusted setting where experience can be shared openly.

“The agenda was developed in close collaboration with our Captive Owners Advisory Board to ensure it speaks directly to the issues owners are confronting. As captive strategies evolve, a trusted environment for peer exchange becomes increasingly important.”

The spokesperson said, “Beyond the closed-door session, the wider conference programme will address the broader forces shaping global risk and insurance markets, reinforcing Bermuda’s role as a centre of capital strength, regulatory clarity and structuring expertise.

“Organisers have noted strong early interest in the event. Official hotel room blocks in Hamilton are filling quickly, and delegates are advised to secure accommodation and travel arrangements well in advance. While a number of additional local hotels are available within easy reach of the conference venue, availability across the island can tighten as the event approaches.

“With early bird rates available for a limited period, prospective attendees are encouraged to register soon to secure preferred pricing and ensure participation in what is expected to be another well-attended gathering of the global captive community.
