Bermuda Dance Academy To Host Fundraiser

Bermuda Dance Academy will host a studio showing, bake sale, and craft event on Saturday [Feb 7] to support its International Performance Team ahead of an upcoming competition in Orlando, Florida.

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Dance Academy is excited to announce a Studio Showing, bake sale, and craft event to support our International Performance Team as they prepare to compete at Revive, the Dance Competition and Convention in Orlando, Florida. The fundraising event will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at The Berkeley Institute Dance Studio from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the studio showing scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

“This family-friendly fundraiser features a dynamic studio showing of Bermuda Dance Academy’s competition dances performed by twelve talented dancers, alongside a bake sale and craft market. The event offers the local community an opportunity to come together, cheer on Bermuda’s young artists, and support an international stage for Bermuda’s talent.

“Twelve dancers, ages seven to seventeen, will compete across seven dances. Cast members are Sanziniah Raynor, Tjaia Butler, Kennedy Steeves, Aanya Mills, Nia Cross, Tessanne Williams, Riley Evans, Essence Lewis, Aviya Mills, Gerney Gibbons-Boyles, Isabella Lindsay, and Alena Hassell. They will be guided by teachers Makaylie Smith, Imani Edwards, and Jaidah Bailey, with direction from Nikia Manders.

“The International Performance Team will travel to Orlando for Revive from February 11 to February 18, 2026. Proceeds from the event will directly support travel, competition fees, costumes, and related expenses as the team represents Bermuda on the international stage.
