Phillips Wins Key Match As Tulane Dominates

Daniel Phillips helped Tulane University defeat the University of New Orleans 6–1 in the New Orleans derby.

Phillips played at the number one doubles position alongside Lance Nisbet against Jacob Rouleau-Mailly and Jerall Yasin. The match was tied 5–5 when it was halted after Tulane secured the doubles point on other courts.

At number one singles, Phillips faced Rouleau-Mailly. He won the first set 6–3, while Rouleau-Mailly took the second set 6–3. The final set remained tied at six games each, leading to a tie-break, which Phillips won 7–4 to take the match 7–6 in the third.
