Police: Report Of Body Found Are False
The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed that reports of a body being found are false and urged the public “not to share unverified information.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of information circulating on social media suggesting that a body was found at Paget Primary School. We wish to clearly and unequivocally state that this information is false.
“There is no incident of this nature at Paget Primary School, and there is no cause for public concern.
“We recognise that misinformation can spread quickly, particularly online, and can unintentionally cause fear and distress within the community.
“We therefore encourage members of the public not to share unverified information.
“The Bermuda Police Service thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding.”
