Single Lane Closure On Blue Hole Hill
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has advised motorists of a single-lane closure on Blue Hole Hill, near Grotto Bay Hotel, to allow wall construction and the relocation of a bus layby.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public of a single-lane closure on Blue Hole Hill in Hamilton Parish, adjacent to Grotto Bay Hotel, to facilitate wall construction and the relocation of a bus layby. The works will affect the eastbound lane from Monday, 16 February 2026, through Friday, 27 March 2026.
“Work will take place daily between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Traffic controls will be managed by the Ministry of Public Works and Environment using stop-and-go signs and traffic signals.
“Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, expect delays, and consider alternative routes where possible during the stated hours. Cooperation from the motoring public is appreciated as these improvements are carried out.”
