Bermuda Journal Of Academic Research Debuts
The Bermuda Journal of Academic Research [BJAR] has officially released its first edition, marking the launch of a new platform dedicated to highlighting research connected to Bermuda and the wider academic community.
A spokesperson said, “Founded in September 2024, the Bermuda Journal of Academic Research was created to provide an accessible space for multidisciplinary scholarship while connecting Bermuda with regional and global academic conversations. The journal aims to promote and celebrate research while encouraging new voices and ideas across a range of disciplines.
“The inaugural edition features peer-reviewed and aspiring researcher sections. Topics explored in this issue span several fields, including economics, law and public policy, and gender studies. The research examines issues such as global trade, the long-term impacts of legal regimes, gendered violence during the Partition of India, and economic inequality.”
“Research plays an important role in helping societies better understand the challenges they face and the opportunities ahead,” the editorial team said. “Our goal with the Bermuda Journal of Academic Research is to create a platform where Bermudian scholarship can be shared and where ideas from across disciplines can contribute to meaningful conversations.”
A spokesperson added, “The first edition of the journal is now available online and can be accessed by the public.
