Bermuda Teams Compete In Boston Qualifier
The Nike Boston National Qualifier concluded at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, with Bermuda teams the Big Wave Riders 18 and Paradise Hitters 17 completing three days of competition against North American opposition.
Big Wave Riders 18 finished 23rd overall after losing 2–1 to NE Storm 18 Squall in a Round 3 Flight 2 match. The teams split the first two sets 25–19 and 19–25 before NE Storm 18 Squall won the deciding set 15–10.
Paradise Hitters 17 placed fifth overall after a 2–0 loss to Northeast 17 Blue in a Round 3 Gold Division match. Northeast 17 Blue won both sets 25–23.
