Sailing: Christian Ebbin & Tulane Finish Third
Bermudian sailor Christian Ebbin and his Tulane University teammates finished third at the St. Mary’s Open Team Race on the Potomac River this weekend.
The Green Wave ended the regatta with a 7–2 record against a field of 10 U.S. collegiate programs. Ebbin sailed as one of Tulane’s skippers alongside Kelly Holthus and Hamilton Barclay. The team’s crew included Jonah Wozniak, Sabrina Anderson, and Taylor Bartell.
Tulane recorded wins over the College of Charleston, Cornell University, the United States Naval Academy, St. Mary’s College, Christopher Newport University, the University of Rhode Island, and George Washington University.
The result marks a strong showing for the New Orleans-based program and positions Ebbin and his teammates for the final stages of the Atlantic Coast season and the upcoming national championship selections.
