Results: WER Joell Memorial Tournament
Top seeds advanced on day two of the WER Joell Memorial Tennis Tournament as group standings took shape at the National Tennis Stadium.
In the Men’s A Division, Wayne Montgomery beat David Gravier 6-1, 6-1 in group one.
Zachary McGuire defeated Tobiah Goodchild 6-1, 6-3. Goodchild later kept his hopes alive with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Hugh Seymour.
In the Ladies A Division, Terceira Lee won two matches to remain unbeaten.
She beat Caitlin Conyers 7-5, 7-5, then defeated Samantha Morgan 6-2, 6-1 to lead the standings.
In the Men’s B Division, Adam Grasso came from a set down to beat Chris Grasso 4-6, 6-2, 12-10 in group one.
Will Britten beat Osenotse Phenyo 6-0, 6-0 in group two.
In the Ladies B Division, Arianna Parra Delgado beat Dylan Outerbridge 6-1, 6-0.
