Zeri Tomlinson Impresses With The Bat
Bermuda cricketer Zeri Tomlinson scored an unbeaten 49 to help Papplewick and Linby First XI secure a seven-wicket win over Notts & Arnold Amateur First XI in the Nottinghamshire Premier League on Saturday [April 25].
Papplewick chased down a target of 210 off 39.3 overs at Papplewick Hall Ground, with Tomlinson sharing an unbroken fourth-wicket partnership of 110 with Ben Shaw.
Shaw top-scored with 83 not out, while Tomlinson struck five fours and two sixes in his 68-ball innings.
Notts & Arnold, who elected to bat after winning the toss, scored 209 off 49.1 overs.
