The Bermuda Rubis Energy Karting Championship 2025–2026 season concluded in dramatic fashion as 49 drivers battled in a thrilling finale under clear skies, with multiple class champions crowned after a day of intense racing.

A spokesperson said, “Under brilliant sunshine and a charged atmosphere, the final race day of the Bermuda Rubis Energy Karting Championship 2025–2026 season delivered high drama as 49 drivers took to the track, each battling for crucial finishing positions in a fiercely contested finale.

“In the L206 class, #91 Jason “Skuzzie” North capped off a dominant performance by sweeping all three heats and securing the season championship title. #6 David Barbosa showed impressive consistency, finishing second in each heat. Third-place honors rotated among competitors, with #84 Owen DeCosta claiming it in Heat 1, #10 John Carreiro in Heat 2, and #109 David Selley in Heat 3.

“The TAG Senior class saw competitive racing throughout the day. #159 Skitchy Barnes claimed victory in Heats 1 and 2, while #518 Ryan Burgess surged to take the win in Heat 3. Second-place finishes were earned by #24 Blake Horseman [Heat 1], #21 Shannon Caisey [Heat 2], and #159 Skitchy Barnes [Heat 3]. Third place went to #84 Nathan DeCosta, #24 Blake Horseman, and #21 Shannon Caisey across the three heats respectively. The #518 Ryan Burgess secured the overall championship title for the season.

“Consistency proved key in the TAG Junior class, where #92 Tanner Correia delivered standout performances to claim the championship. He finished first in Heats 1 and 2, followed by #12 Alondro Albouy and #81 Jonathan Linberg in second and third positions. In Heat 3, Albouy took the win, with Linberg second and #30 Syah Pedro rounding out the podium.

“The KZ Masters category featured tightly contested racing. #53 Jason DeCouto claimed victories in Heats 1 and 3, along with a second-place finish in Heat 2, earning him the season championship. #14 Rian Lindo secured second in Heat 1, won Heat 2, and finished third in Heat 3, while #2 William Dunkley maintained consistency with third-place finishes in Heats 1 and 2 and second in Heat 3.

“In the premier KZ class, #9 Skitchy Barnes delivered a flawless performance, winning all three heats. However, consistent podium finishes by #3 Ryan Rebello—second in Heats 1 and 2 and third in Heat 3—were enough to clinch the overall championship title. Additional podium appearances included #24 Blake Horseman, who took third in Heat 2 and second in Heat 3, and #51 Stephen Corrado, who finished third in Heat 3.

“The Cadet class saw remarkable consistency from #92 Tanner Correia, who dominated with first-place finishes in all three heats, while #112 Jacob Garrett secured second place across the board. Correia’s performance earned him yet another championship title for the season.

“In the Arrive and Drive class, #45 Mason Sousa proved unbeatable, taking the checkered flag in all three heats. #25 Miguel Cabral secured second place in Heats 1 and 2 before finishing third in Heat 3. Newcomer #99 Hayden Constable-Stephens impressed in his debut, finishing third in the first two heats and improving to second in the final race. #304 Cooper Hillier demonstrated consistency with fourth-place finishes in all three heats.
