Bermuda Ball Hockey: Spine & Sport & CG Win
The Bermuda Ball Hockey Association playoff season continued at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double-header that produced 16 goals across two matches.
Spine & Sport 6 Positive Image Dental 3
Spine and Sport defeated Positive Image Dental 6-3 in the opening match. Spine and Sport took a 3-0 lead in the first period through goals from Johnny Talbot, Curran Trenouth, and Jake Fenske.
Positive Image Dental responded in the second period with goals from Louis Sujir and Chris Allington. Spine and Sport extended their lead through Talbot’s second goal of the game and a goal from Christopher Merritt.
Talbot completed a hat-trick in the final period. Sujir added his second goal for Positive Image Dental.
BDA Spirits 3 CG 4
CG defeated BDA Spirits 4-3 in the second match. CG led 3-1 after the first period with goals from Andrew Leavy, Jeremy Estey, and Dallas Montgomery. Andrew Bonner scored for BDA Spirits.
BDA Spirits reduced the deficit in the second period through Jeff Loper, before Jeff Morash restored CG’s two-goal lead.
In the third period, Ryan Marshall scored for BDA Spirits to bring the match within one goal, but CG held on for the win.
