Bermuda Youth Teams Compete In Florida

Bermuda’s Under-14 boys’ and girls’ rugby teams opened play at the Tropical Rugby Tournament in Florida, facing North American academy opposition in Pool B sevens competition.

The Under-14 boys recorded three losses, conceding 90 points and scoring 24. Bermuda opened with a 34–5 defeat to the USA Rugby South Panther Academy, followed by a 34–0 loss to the Assassins Academy. In their final match, Bermuda narrowly lost 22–19 to the Utah Yeti.

The Under-14 girls won their first two matches before losing their final two in pool play. Bermuda defeated Hawkeyes Academy 27–10 and USA Rugby South Panther Academy 24–19. They then lost 24–14 to Utah Cannibals and 22–14 to Atlantis Rugby.

Pool play has concluded, and both Bermuda teams advance to the knockout stage.
