Betschart And Phillips Win Golf Titles
Oliver Betschart and Christopher Phillips won their respective divisions at the Bermuda Match Play Championship, held at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton.
In the Men’s Championship Division, Betschart defeated James Godwin 3 & 2 in the final to claim the title. In the semi-finals, Betschart defeated Arman Newton 2 & 1, while Godwin defeated Jonathan James 3 & 2.
In the Senior Men’s Championship, Phillips defeated Alec Anderson 2 & 1 in the final. In the semi-final round, Phillips defeated Ian Page 2 & 1, and Anderson advanced by defeating Geoffrey Piggott 2 & 1.
