Encounter Bermuda Set For April 30th To May 2nd

Encounter: Bermuda 2026 — described as an “elevated R&B destination weekend” — will be held from April 30 through May 4, 2026.

A spokesperson said, “From the creators of That Slow Jam Party, Encounter: Bermuda presents a weekend featuring MOOD: R&B Yoga at Treehouse Yoga Studio, Rock The Boat aboard the Uber Vida, and ESSENSE at Pier 6 Waterfront Complex, supported by The Ministry of Tourism, Transport, Culture & Sport, Grey Goose, D’USSÉ, Bermudair, and BGA.

“Encounter: Bermuda 2026, the elevated R&B destination weekend created by Make Monet Media, Najib Tanzoui Chentouf and the team behind That Slow Jam Party, returns April 30 through May 4, 2026, bringing together music lovers, style-forward travelers, and community-minded guests for a multi-event experience that blends wellness, nightlife, and intentional connection in Bermuda. Designed for R&B lovers traveling from abroad and across the island, Encounter offers a weekend where the soundtrack and setting are curated with purpose.

“I first attended That Slow Jam Party in the fall of 2022 in Toronto, and instantly knew I wanted Bermudians to experience the event. The response we had to the inaugural Bermuda event in 2023 was incredible, fast forward to 2026 and I can’t wait to help present Encounter” said Najib

A spokesperson added, “Encounter: Bermuda 2026 is anchored by three headline experiences across the long weekend:

• “MOOD [April 30-May1] — a wellness-forward R&B yoga experience hosted at Treehouse Yoga Studio, curated to open the weekend with intention, breath, and embodied reset.

• “Rock The Boat [May 1] — an elevated yacht-party experience aboard the Uber Vida, bringing ocean air, curated sound, and a high-touch celebration to the water.

• “ESSENSE [May 2] — an upscale R&B experience staged at Pier 6 Waterfront Complex, delivering signature Encounter energy in a premium waterfront setting.
