Hamilton Princess and Spine and Sport both recorded wins in the latest round of the Bermuda Ball Hockey season at the PCC Hockey Rink
Hamilton Princess 3 BDA Spirits 2
Hamilton Princess defeated BDA Spirits 3–2 in a tightly contested Bermuda Ball Hockey League match at the PCC Hockey Rink.
The first period ended scoreless, with neither team able to break through.
Hamilton Princess opened the scoring in the second period through Jean-Michael Tremblay, assisted by Mathew Benson. BDA Spirits responded with two unanswered goals from Jeff Loper and Ryan Marshall to take a 2–1 lead into the final period.
Hamilton Princess rallied in the third period. Mathew Benson tied the game after being set up by Richard Campbell before scoring the winning goal unassisted later in the period to complete the comeback.
ACT 4 Spine & Sport 8
Spine and Sport defeated ACT 8–4 in the second match of the night at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Spine and Sport took control early, with first-period goals from Jake Fenske and Rob Osborne to build a 2–0 lead.
ACT responded through Shane Matchett, who scored twice, and Chris Cairns, who added a goal, but were unable to close the gap.
Spine and Sport maintained their advantage throughout, with Curran Trenouth and Christopher Merritt each scoring twice. Jake Fenske completed a hat-trick, including two power-play goals, while Kris Abramowski recorded three assists in the win.
