OUTBermuda Announces 2026 Pride Theme
OutBermuda has announced “Deep Roots” as the official theme for Bermuda Pride 2026.
A spokesperson said, “OutBermuda is proud to announce “Deep Roots” as the official theme for Bermuda Pride 2026. This theme serves as a powerful reminder that the LGBTQ+ community is not a recent addition to the island, but an essential part of its very foundation.
“OUTBermuda, Bermuda’s only charity dedicated to LGBTQ+ people, is the driving force behind Bermuda Pride.
“The ‘Deep Roots’ theme reflects a commitment to stability, trust, and an unshakeable presence within the island’s culture. It acknowledges that LGBTQ+ Bermudians have always been a part of the social and cultural fabric of the island.
“The impact of the theme is threefold, as it honours the past, present, and future of the LGBTQ+ community in Bermuda. It seeks to honour the quiet courage and efforts of those who came before us, ground the community of today in their identities, and promise a future of growth.
“Taking inspiration from Bermuda’s natural environment, the theme also speaks to resilience, as just like local flora, roots are built to withstand the unique storms that the LGBTQ+ community face.
“At its core, ‘Deep Roots’ is an invitation for every individual to feel secure in their place in Bermuda.
