Premier Burt Meets With Youth Parliament
Premier David Burt recently met with members of Youth Parliament, listening to their views and answering their questions.
“I joined Youth Parliament and spoke with the young Bermudians, answering their questions and listening closely to their views on the issues that matter to them,” the Premier said.
“They raised really great questions, and it was clear how Youth Parliament helps young people better understand the political process and the importance of civic engagement.
“Through debate in the House of Assembly, youth parliamentarians get to experience how ideas are discussed and how policy is shaped. I shared my personal journey into public service and spoke about the responsibility that comes with political leadership.
“The Government will continue to support Youth Parliament so that young people have the opportunity to engage and see their place in Bermuda’s future.”
