Sunday April 5th: “Good News” Spotlight
News that BEJI donated books, laptops, and tablets to support education and rehabilitation in corrections, over 1,400 students attended the Art of Michael K. Frith exhibition at the Bermuda National Gallery, and the Women’s Resource Centre [WRC] successfully hosted its 2nd Annual HERstory Festival were among the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Sydney Mason and Michael Walsh won bronze medals at the IBJJF Pan Championship, and the ABIC Charity Golf Tournament saw Artex win while raising $15,000 for education programmes.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Harrington Workman’s Club event, BEJI donating 1,000 books and laptops, the Women’s History Month Festival, BZS hosting Zoom Around the Sound and Hamilton Princess 2026 Easter Display.
