Green Family Donates $50K To Eliza DoLittle

The Green Family has donated $50,000 to The Eliza DoLittle Society to help sustain its food assistance services amid rising demand.

A spokesperson said, “The Green Family has announced a $50,000 donation to support The Eliza DoLittle Society, reinforcing its commitment to Bermuda during a period of increased demand for food assistance.

“The contribution follows the charity’s recent decision to reduce pantry operations amid financial pressures and rising need. The donation will help sustain critical services while supporting the launch of its broader fundraising campaign.”

Alexander Green commented, “The Eliza DoLittle Society plays an essential role in supporting our community. In light of the growing demand, we felt it was important to act and contribute in a meaningful way. We are proud to support their important work across Bermuda.”

The spokesperson said, “For more than 20 years, the organization has supported hundreds of families. In the past four years alone, it has assisted over 875 households, many of whom face unemployment, underemployment, or ongoing financial hardship.”

Clare Mello-Robinson added, “We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Green Family for this extraordinarily generous donation. It provides immediate momentum for our fundraising campaign and strengthens our ability to serve families across Bermuda. We are deeply grateful for their patronage.”

The spokesperson said, “The donation contributes to the charity’s $200,000 fundraising goal to ensure continued service delivery.”
