City Of Hamilton Mayor Election Set For May 7

Voters in the City of Hamilton will head to the polls tomorrow [May 7] for the municipal election to choose the next Mayor, with both Michael Branco and Elmore Warren vying to succeed outgoing Mayor Charles Gosling.

Polling is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul Centennial Church Hall in Hamilton. Advance polling was held on April 30.

The City previously said, “Municipal elections provide City residents and business ratepayers with an opportunity to have their say in the leadership and direction of Hamilton. From infrastructure and public spaces to events and services, decisions made at the municipal level have a direct impact on daily life in the City.”
