Jessica Lewis Finishes Second In T53 200
Para-athlete Jessica Lewis finished second in the T53 200 metres at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Notwil, Switzerland, yesterday [May 21].
Lewis clocked a personal-best 27.98sec to win silver behind Swiss athlete Catherine Debrunner, who won in 26.44.
The Bermudian’s time broke the Americas region record of 28.93.
Hamide Dogangun, of Turkey, finished third in 28.30.
Lewis competes in the 400 today and 100 tomorrow.
