Jessica Lewis Set For World Championships
Para-athlete Jessica Lewis is warming up for the upcoming World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, India.
Lewis, a four-time Paralympian, is preparing for the competition, which runs from September 27 to October 5, at a training camp in Dubai.
“We are in our last weeks of training before the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships!” she said.
“I’ll be heading to India on September 28 and competing on October 2 and 3.
“I’m excited to be competing in a new place and to be representing Bermuda at my seventh World Championships.

“Having their support makes a meaningful difference both in competition and beyond.”
Jessica is my grand-daughter – and I am her ‘Bragging Granny’ ! Needless to say, I am extremely proud of her wheelchair racing accomplishments – and of her stamina, determination, and commitment. She sets a perfect example of steadfastness for us all, as she once again represents Bermuda with pride in these upcoming World Championship Races.
