Ascento, Anderson Win Race One Opener
The Bermuda Power Boat Association opened its season with an inshore race day at Ferry Reach.
Nine boats competed, with Howard Ascento and Nasaje Anderson winning the opening race and taking top honours in the D-Class.
Ryan Resendes and Jahcai Morris finished second overall and won the B-Class, while Jody and Tony Carreiro were third.
In the A-Class, Brandon DeSilva and Blake Burgess were the top finishers, placing fourth overall.
Chris Marshall and Jacari Marshall were fifth. Quincy and Jordan Dowling did not start the first race.
In race two, Ascento and Anderson did not finish, allowing Resendes and Morris to take the overall win and B-Class honours.
Steven Meireles and Tyler Smith finished second, with the Carreiros third.
DeSilva and Burgess again won the A-Class, with Marshall and Marshall second in class.
