Powerboat Teams Compete In IHRA In Missouri
Bermudian offshore powerboat racers secured two of the top three positions in Super Stock qualifying at the IHRA Shootout Offshore at Lake of the Ozarks.
Driver David Selley and throttleman Steven Bridges took pole position in the S-25 Team Bermuda catamaran. The S-25 crew entered the event with a 27-point lead at the top of the IHRA Offshore Super Stock standings.
Bermuda’s other entry in the class, S-12 Nuff Said, qualified third. The boat is driven by Luis Martins and throttled by Nick Imprescia. The crew entered the qualifying session fourth in the IHRA Offshore Super Stock standings.
