DeSilva-Andrade Wins Gold At World Challenger
Bermudian athlete Yushae Desilva Andrade made an outstanding showing at the Birmingham 2026 World Boccia Challenger held in Alabama, winning the gold medal in the BC1 women’s division.
In the Women’s BC1 Pool A competition, Andrade recorded a 4-4 tie against Sohyeon Park of South Korea and also defeated Yi-Ting Tsai of Chinese Taipei to win the gold medal.
