Adam Hall & Goldeyes Defeat Lincoln Saltdogs
Adam Hall recorded three extra-base hits and drove in three runs as the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Lincoln Saltdogs 11-8 at Blue Cross Park.
The Bermudian baseball player helped lead the Winnipeg offense by finishing with two doubles and a triple.
His first major contribution came in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a two-run double to break a 2-2 tie and put the Goldeyes ahead 4-2.
Hall later scored in the fourth inning as Winnipeg added four more runs to extend their lead.
After Lincoln rallied to cut the deficit to 10-8, Hall delivered the final insurance run of the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, tripling to right field to score Ramón Bramasco and make it 11-8.
