Dr Durham Thompson Launches New Book
Dr. Shangri-La Durham-Thompson will launch her new book ‘Live to Make a Difference: The Legacy of a Servant Leader, Rev. Lloyd E. Dees’ on Saturday, June 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bermuda Society of Arts Gallery in City Hall, Hamilton.
A spokesperson said, ” Distinguished Bermudian educator, leadership advocate and accomplished multi-book author Dr. Shangri-La Durham-Thompson will officially start her global book launch tour for her newest book, Live to Make a Difference: The Legacy of a Servant Leader, Rev. Lloyd E. Dees in Bermuda and Beyond, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bermuda Society of Arts Gallery in City Hall, Hamilton. Then, she plans to go beyond Bermuda for a global book launch as she has been invited to speak in the US and the Caribbean.
“More than a traditional book release, the June event will introduce a broader leadership development and educational initiative designed to equip current and emerging leaders with the values needed to strengthen Bermuda’s schools, churches, businesses, public institutions and communities.”
