The Department of Public Transportation and Ministry of Public Works announced temporary bus detours and road closures from June 13 -15th due to the Waves Concert, Revel de Road procession, and National Heroes Day events.
Heroes Weekend Bus Detours
A spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] advises the public of temporary impacts to bus services on Saturday, 13 June 2026 and National Heroes Day, Monday, 15 June 2026 due to event-related road closures.
“On Saturday, 13 June 2026, road closures associated with the Waves Concert at Admiralty House Park will affect Route 4 bus services between 1:00 p.m. and 6:27 p.m. During this period, all Route 4 buses will operate via St. John’s Road in both directions. Passengers travelling to and from the Spanish Point area should expect minor delays and service adjustments.
“On National Heroes Day, Monday, 15 June 2026, the Holiday bus schedule will be in effect. Several routes will be impacted by road closures associated with the Revel De Road Carnival celebrations, with the most significant impacts expected on Routes 10 and 11.
“The public is advised that due to the nature of the event, detours will change throughout the day and evening as road closures are implemented and subsequently removed. Passengers are encouraged to allow additional travel time when travelling on Monday.

Road Traffic Notice- Temporary Road Closure for Revel de Road Procession
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises the public of a temporary road closure on Cedar Avenue, Marsh Folly Road, Palmetto Road, North Shore Road, Blackwatch Pass and Dutton Avenue to facilitate the Revel the Road event on Monday, June 15, 2026, during the hours specified in the attached notice. Motorists are advised that sections of these roads will be closed or restricted to traffic for the duration of the event.
“The motoring public is advised to plan alternative routes, expect delays, and exercise caution when travelling in the area. Traffic control measures will be in place, and motorists are asked to follow all posted signage and instructions from traffic marshals.”

Road Closure on North Shore Road for Wave Concert
“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises that North Shore Road will be closed from Berkeley Road to Spanish Point Road on Saturday, 13 June 2026 between 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for the Wave Concert at Admiralty House Park.
“Residential and local access will be permitted; however, delays are expected. Traffic control will be in place, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes via Berkeley Road and St. John’s Road.
“Motorists are advised to exercise caution, follow posted signage, and comply with directions from traffic control personnel. The Ministry urges the public to plan their routes accordingly and thanks motorists for their cooperation during this period.”
