Cox And Sidders Win Medals In Maryland
[Updated with video] Bermuda’s Kaelin Cox and Geraldine Sidders won five gold medals from five events at the Presidential Wushu Cup in Maryland.
Competing at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Centre, Cox claimed three titles, while Sidders won both of her events.
Cox won gold in the Nanquan [southern fist] with a score of 8.79 before adding titles in the Nandao [southern broadsword] with 8.55 and the Nangun [southern staff] with 8.61.
Sidders won the Changquan [longfist] division with a score of 8.36 before taking gold in the Gunshu [staff] with 8.33.
