Adam Hall’s Goldeyes Defeat Canaries
Bermudian Adam Hall’s Winnipeg Goldeyes earned a split of their series with the Sioux Falls Canaries by cruising to a 14-3 victory at Blue Cross Park yesterday [June 4].
Winnipeg overturned a 2-1 deficit with four runs in the fourth inning and broke the game open with four more in the sixth before T.J. Schofield-Sam capped the scoring with a three-run homer in the eighth.
Schofield-Sam drove in five runs and Luke Boyd allowed three runs over six innings to earn the win as the Goldeyes finished the series level with Sioux Falls.
Winnipeg play in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
