Enriqué Mendes Commits To Chicago State
Bermudian footballer Enriqué Mendes has committed to play for Division 1 Chicago State Univeristy.
The forward, who has played locally for Somerset Trojans, wrote on social media: “I am proud to announce my commitment to play D1 soccer at Chicago University.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for blessing me with this incredible opportunity and guiding me every step of the way.
“I am extremely grateful to my mom and dad, and my entire family for their constant support and sacrifices, and belief in me throughout my journey.
“Lastly, I would like to thank all of my coaches and team-mates who have helped shape me – not only as a player, but more importantly, as a person.”
