Liam Evans Places 3rd At Apex Chicago Event
Liam Evans made an excellent showing to finish third in the men’s division at the Apex Chicago event, competing against a field of 72 international athletes.
Apex Chicago is a multi-discipline athletic testing competition.
Evans delivered strong performances across a range of disciplines, recording scores of 219 in Endurance, 198 in Speed, 182 in Power and 72 in Strength.
He completed The Mile in 5min 12sec and posted a time of 4.529 seconds in the Fast Forty sprint.
Evans also recorded a 46-inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 9ft 4ins.
In the throwing events, he reached 57ft, 11ins in The Toss. He also completed 15 repetitions in The Pull and eight repetitions in The Push.
Evans is a strength and conditioning coach at Evans Performance Training and a former Bermuda national team footballer.
