HSBC Bank Bermuda recently hosted a presentation with ASU BIOS as part of its Climate Month programme, bringing together a speaker line-up featuring representatives from HSBC Bank Bermuda, the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, Arizona State University’s School of Ocean Futures and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
The speakers listed for the presentation included Greg Garnier, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Bermuda; Craig Carlson, PhD, Director of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, as well as Professor at the School of Ocean Futures at Arizona State University; and Rod Johnson, PhD, Associate Research Professor at the ASU School of Ocean Futures and Assistant Scientist at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences.
The line-up also included Ann Michel, PhD, Associate Scientist in the Department of Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution [WHOI]; Nick Baetge, PhD, Assistant Scientist at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences; and Kaitlin Noyes, Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences.
