RedHawks Defeat Adam Hall & Goldeyes
Bermudian baseball player Adam Hall went 2-for-4 to raise his team-leading batting average to .361, although his Winnipeg Goldeyes suffered a 5-1 loss to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Blue Cross Park in Manitoba, Canada
Hall and centre fielder Noah Marcelo each collected two hits, accounting for four of the Goldeyes’ seven total hits on the afternoon.
Fargo-Moorhead took an early lead in the first inning on a Dillon Thomas RBI double and added a second run in the second inning following a balk. The RedHawks extended the lead to 5-0 with a Tripp Clark RBI double in the seventh and a two-run single by Cole Yearsley in the eighth.
Winnipeg broke the shutout in the bottom of the eighth when Marcelo scored on a Jiandido Tromp fielder’s choice.
